As an educator I believe this book should be required reading before graduation from high school in all schools in America.  Your writing skills are excellent.  The way you introduce the reader to people like Aly, her brother – Matt, her grandparents, Marc, Chloe, and especially Mr. Bennett makes us have a mental image of each one.  Not only do we know what they look like but the values they all hold dear.  Honesty and true friendship are values that were emphasized throughout the entire book.
